Part A
“CREATIVITY” Interactive Film
Group Project
In this first part of the brief, I was tasked with creating an interactive film with the title/idea of the word "CREATIVITY". My first step was to research and look at previously made interactive films to see how it has been achieved before.
Black Mirror: BANDERSNATCH
The first interactive film I researched was Black Mirror's film BANDERSNATCH. Which I personally watched on release. This film was incredible as it contained so many different choices throughout the film which made the ending completely different each time. Each choice led up to a different storyline and the endings were so vast and different - it made you rewatch the film and try out different endings and so despite the film being only about an hour and a half long the choices and different stories made this film over 6 hours long to be able to see each choice play out.

Animals on the Loose: A You vs. Wild Movie
This is another show on Netflix by Bear Grylls which puts him out in the wild with different choices on how to survive in the wild. You are able to explore and choose how to survive in different situtations from the comfort of your home. The choices all lead to different outcomes and your survivability in the show.

Late Shift
Late Shift is a crime thriller film from 2016 written and directed by Tobias Weber. You are put into a brutal London heist, and the choices you chose matter in this interactive experience with storylines that lead to one of seven conclusions. This film is around an hour and a half long however going back through each choice will lead you to over 6 hours worth of different stories and endings.

Development
After researching a few interactive films, we as a group began brain storming ideas for what we could do for our own interactive film. We came up with the idea of being creative in class with our character being bored in class and then testing out different mediums of art to create an artwork at the end. Each choice would lead to a different outcome and a different piece of art. I also created a big plan sketched out to make sure we'd get all the different types of content and footage to be able to then put it all together in the end. We slowly began filming each section to be able to achieve our different stories and choices which took a long time.
Outcome
After the footage was created, using Sony Vegas pro, I edited the footage to make each clip which then was uploaded into EKO to create the interactive film which can be viewed below:
